PICK-4
PICK-4 is a daily draw lottery game that gives players a chance to play four of their favourite numbers, ranging from 0 to 9, either by Straight Play or Box Play.
PICK-4 tickets cost $1 for each four number combination. Players can select any four-digit number from 0000 to 9999 by selection slip or by asking for a QUICK PICK.
Straight Play is matching all four digits in the exact order (e.g. 1234). A number with the same 4 digits (e.g. 2222) can be played only as a Straight Play. For Box Play, the digits you select determine which Box Play prize category you are eligible for (4-Way, 6-Way, 12-Way or 24-Way Box Play) Only one Box Play type will apply per draw. Box Play can be won four different ways:
4 Way Box - Match all 4 digits in any order, where 3 of the digits are the same (e.g. 1112)
6 Way Box - Match all 4 digits in any order, where two sets of digits are the same (e.g. 1122)
12 Way Box - Match all 4 digits in any order, where 2 of the digits are the same (e.g. 1123)
24 Way Box - Match all 4 digits in any order, where all 4 digits are different (eg.1234)
Box Play gives players the chance to match their four favourite numbers, or QUICK PICK selections, in many ways. For example, if three of the four digits played are the same (eg.1112), the numbers can be combined in four unique ways (eg.1112, 1121, 1211, 2111) This creates a 4-Way Box Play. Similarly, a 6-Way Box Play (2 sets of digits the same e.g. 1122), combines the numbers in six unique ways, a 12-Way Box Play (2 digits the same e.g. 1123) combines the numbers in twelve unique ways and a 24 Way Box Play (4 different digits e.g. 1234) combines the numbers in 24 unique ways. The fewer the possible number of combinations, the greater the prize. Only one Box Play type applies per draw (Refer to PICK-4 Fact Sheet prize structure for more information.)
You can play up to five sets of four numbers on each ticket, whether by QUICK PICK or selection slip, and can play up to 10 draws in advance.
PICK-4 is expected to pay approximately 50% of sales to players.
For liability purposes, there are limits to how many unique number selections can be purchased for each draw. OLG will suspend Straight Play and Box Play PICK-4 wagering for any 4-digit number that has exceeded a total potential prize liability of $1 million for any given draw. Wagering will continue to be available for all other Box Play combinations of the suspended number, provided said numbers have not individually exceeded the $1 million total liability limit for Box Play and Straight Play.
Yes, a subscription for PICK-4 is available through OLG.ca or on the OLG App for Multi Draw and Never Miss a Draw. Subscription tickets are purchased between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. after the MIDDAY Draw and between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. the day following the Evening Draw. If your number selection has reached the liability limit before your ticket is purchased, no ticket will be purchased and your subscription will skip that draw. Learn more about liability limits in the official PICK-4 Game Conditions.
The PICK-4 numbers are drawn via ball drop using Messenger ball machines, provided by Smartplay International Inc. 4 ball machines will be loaded with one set of balls each, numbered from 0 to 9. After one ball is selected from each Messenger machine, the digit is recorded. The PICK-2, PICK-3 and PICK-4 games are conducted simultaneously.

Please verify your ticket after purchase. If there is an error with your Slipless Play selection, let your retailer know right away. As with all draw lottery tickets, Slipless Play selections may be cancelled up to 30 minutes after they have been printed. Please notify your retailer immediately if you wish to cancel your ticket.
